Our Conference program is here !

On the 3rd of July, the cream of the crop of the music industry is gathering in Liège for a unique conference day that takes place as part of the Wallifornia MusicTech. Organized at the sumptuous Theater of Liège, the conferences are based on the TED model, giving the floor to big names and MusicTech experts from all around the world. The closing party will consist of an exclusive concert and DJ set by Tom Barman (Deus), John Acquaviva and Rambo Springsteen at the Reflektor. The next day, participants get the opportunity to watch the Start-Up pitch competition. A special event where promising MusicTech Start-up present their project in front of the Public. 

Interested in listening to Tom Barman’s experience as singer of Deus or to learn more about the future of music-tech from Karim Fanous, Innovation Manager at Abbey Road Red? The themes taken on this year will carry us from developing a music city, talks on sound and vision to Developing artificial intelligence within the music industry throughout the day. This will be completed with showcases, networking sessions and one to one meetings! As many more, they will be present on the 3rd of July for an exceptional conference day. This is a unique opportunity to challenge what you know about a fast moving industry and exchange directly with the speakers. On the 4th of July participants also get access to the Start-Up Pitch Competition where outstanding MusicTech Start-Up come pitching their innovative products in front of the public at Les Ardentes.

THE CONFERENCE – 3rd of July 

We are now less than two weeks away from the Wallifornia MusicTech 2019 conferences! We thought it was time to share the program with you. We have a lot of exciting keynotes and panels lined up for this year’s edition ! The themes taken on this year will carry us from developing a music city, talks on sound and vision to Developing artificial intelligence within the music industry throughout the day. This will be completed with showcases, networking sessions and one to one meetings.

AN EXCEPTIONAL DJ SET

From 09:00 pm, the party goes on with a DJ set and an exceptional concert at the Reflektor by Tom Barman, John Acquaviva and Rambo Springsteen. A unique opportunity to mix business with pleasure and to continue discussing music-tech in an informal setting while enjoying great music.

THE PITCH COMPETITION – 4th of July 

19 start-ups will go head to head in our Pitch competition. This is where the future of music-tech will be presented to you in a competitive and exciting format. These start-ups are involved in all areas of the music and tech industries from groundbreaking meta-data analysis tools to AI generated music ! The competition will take place on the 4th of July in the afternoon, at Les Ardentes Festival.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

WHERE?

During the day at the Théâtre de Liège, Place du XX août 16, 4000 Liège, Belgium.

At night, at the Reflektor, Place Xavier-Neujean 24, 4000 Liège, Belgium.

On the 4th of July, the Pitch Competition will take place at Les Ardentes Festival, MusicTech Area.

WHEN?

Conferences take place from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and will be followed by a walking dinner until 8:00pm.

The closing party will be held at the Reflektor, from 09:00 pm to 01:00 am.

The Start-Up Pitch Competition will be organized from 01:00pm to 6:00pm ont he 4th of July.
