About The Speaker
Simon Goulder
Simon is a lead software developer at UMG, and heads up development of machine learning based tech products within UMG's sync licensing / catalogue discovery space. Over the years he has mentored at many UMG-sponsored tech events in London, Berlin and LA, including Abbey Road & Capitol Records. His academic background is mainly in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, as well as Music, and has contributed to open source projects. He has exstensive experience across all aspects of the software stack, but feels particularly at home with Python and fullstack JavaScript. Simon is also a session musician and has worked with several London-based bands and artists.
