Nobie Yamawaki
Nobie leads the business development efforts to expand the Xbox platform. In his role, he is responsible for cultivating and managing Microsoft’s gaming partnerships; crafting, negotiating, and executing deals; and shaping TAM expansion strategy. Nobie has held several positions within the Video Game industry, he founded GameTrust, the game publishing division of GameStop, and managed the product and strategy for Latin America at PlayStation. Prior to gaming, Nobie created a consulting company that focused on globalization and growth of micro to medium sized companies. His work included projects in mining, lumber, metal, manufacturing, and several SMBs in different stages of maturity. Nobie holds degrees in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley (Haas School of Business).
