Dr Joern Radloff
Joern currently scales and leads the specialized IP, Music and AI legal team in EMEA and CEE for ByteDance, the parent company to global social media phenomenon TikTok. He is a specialized lawyer and strategic consultant with over a decade experience in Music, Copyright, Regulation and AI tech across the music industry and for entertainment platforms. Prior to ByteDance, Joern played a leading role in the shift towards a pan-European digital music rights licensing management: established and led the multi-territorial online repertoire and rights management unit at GEMA and was part of the team that set up ICE, a pioneering technology-led European music licensing hub. His work in the last 10+ years has centered around the digital music and tech business with a focus on innovative business models, AI, music and content rights clearance strategy as well as compliance and regulatory.
