A closer look at LeanSquare
As part of the DNA of Wallifornia MusicTech, LeanSquare is in it’s own right a leading actor for start-ups and innovation in Belgium, we thought it was only right to take a closer look at this major player of the new economy.

Established in 2014, Leansquare has set out from the very start to make an impact in the startup world. Set up by Noshaq, the goal has been to fund new and exciting startups with an existing grasp of their own market and potential. The key attribute for a startup looking at LeanSquare is to be part of the new economy going forward. This doesn’t necessarily only include tech startups, but startup with a modern outlook on business and growth. The process LeanSquare has adopted goes through putting startups in the best possible environment with mentoring/coaching sessions, networking events, creating an open co-working space opening up a flow of ideas. The next step consists in helping entrepreneurs finalize their financial dossier and be ready for encounters with potential investors. This once again happens through extensive mentoring sessions and masterclasses. The final step is investing or co-investing in the project, with each startup being carefully analyzed for future progression and success.
So how does this translate to the Wallifornia MusicTech?
During the Wallifornia MusicTech we compress this process into an intense week or brainstorming, mentoring, networking and panels. This is all boosted by the presence of panelists and mentors from all over the world and well established within their own industry, all helping us make a difference in the music-tech industry of course. We are constantly growing and will be expecting an even larger turnout of industry professionals and startups at this year’s event, we hope you will be part of it too!
The Start-ups taking part in this year’s acceleration program have now all been selected, though you can still sign up to the Pitch competition here, the Hackathon right here or even just for a conference pass over here !
