Until recently Trond has been serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Phonofile, contributing to the steadily fast-growing, internationally successfully expanding Nordic music tech company. After Phonofile was recently sold to Sony Music’s The Orchard, Trond is moving over to the music publishing side, involving as co-owner for new Nordic music rights company, Arctic Rights Management. Now looking into any new interesting music tech startups, within various sectors from publishing tech to health & music related tech.
International experience and network: Since 2014 Trond has spent most of his work in new territories that Phonofile has been expanding to – in the Nordics in general, in the UK (London), and in the US (NYC and LA). Trond has been working closely with Phonofile’s CEO and advisory board for the development and implementation of the company’s successful strategies for international growth. Phonofile did meet the Norway standards for healthy profitable startup growth – the so called “Gaselle” standard – six years in a row.
