Anne McKinnon is cofounder of Overview Ark, a multiplayer concert platform that allows shows happening in the real world to also take place in the metaverse, creating the first true virtual platform for artists, the music industry and physical venues. We're not here to disrupt the music industry, we're here to make virtual concerts accessible to all artists and fans. Prior to Overview Ark, Anne reported and continues to write as a journalist on the current state of deep tech. She travels the world, seeing the most cutting-edge breakthroughs in art, technology, and media, interviewing leading executives, bootstrapped startups, artists, and engineers to build an accurate picture of the immersive technology ecosystem, and where it may end up. Anne is also an editor and contributor to Forbes writer Charlie Fink’s book “Convergence” on 5G and AR. She has hosted global conference sessions and seminars in gaming & esports, startups, music, and tech.
