Vincent Favrat
Swiss serial entrepreneur and business angel Vincent Favrat is the cofounder and CEO of Belgian music cognitive technologies company Musimap (AI+HI recommender for the internet of emotion era), co-founder of Just Temptation (leader in film music investment in continental Europe; collaboration with Yann Tiersen, Teho Teardo, Alva Noto, Marc Collin), investor and head of strategic board of audio computer for performers MOD Devices (smart digital multi-effect processor), advisor for Qwest TV (video streaming service of Quincy Jones & Reza Ackabaraly) and co-founder of Feierabend Production (German film/games production company). In his early career, Vincent worked as press manager for the Montreux Jazz Festival, led the Swiss Musicians Union, managed and supervised Stade, co-directed the Lausanne Jazz Onze+ Festival and worked for Lagardère Active in Paris. Vincent has been regularly invited as investor to markets such as Closing The Gap, Wallifornia Music Tech, 3D Content Financing Market and Sonar+D, as speaker to Slush, SXSW, Viva Tech, La Digital Tech Conference, Midem, SF Music Tech, Music Tech Fest and Mondo.NYC and as lecturer to the Popakademie and the National Film and Television School (NFTS).
